16 Weeks

We are now into the 16th week! I have started to feel "fluttering" in my tummy. At first I thought my stomach was rolling but I felt fine. It's an awesome experience and hard to explain! I have a dr. appt. on Monday. I was lucky that it fell during Spring Break so I didn't have to take more time off. I want to save all the days I can. This is a regular appointment. My May appointment will consist of an ultrasound! They told me last time they can tape it for me. I thought that sounded so neat so I need to get all the details next week.

1 more day until Spring Break! I can't wait! We are all in need of a break....both students and teachers. We get Thursday, Friday and Monday off. It will be a nice break. It can't get here fast enough.

15 Weeks

Sorry it's been a couple weeks since I made a post. I've heard about it from a couple people so here ya go! :) A couple weeks ago I had my 1st dr appt. It was exciting to hear the heartbeat and the nurse said it sounded great. That was a relief! The doctor and nurses were so excited to see me there and made me feel like family. I love that office!

I am starting to show more and more. My pants are getting tight. Some friends and I went to Minneapolis last weekend on a shopping trip. We hit up IKEA and Mall of America. I broke down and finally bought some maternity clothes. I still need to find some pants/capris for school. Guess I'll have to go shopping again:) I found some things for the baby room at IKEA...love that place! We are going with the colors of turquoise and brown in the baby room. I can't wait to decorate!

This weekend was very fun! My mom and I put on a shower for Troy's sister, Ashley and her new baby Madison. She is such a sweetie! Madison got so many wonderful gifts! I think she is set on outfits for awhile :) Then last night we went out for supper with some of our friends. It was nice to see them! Then today we were able to lay low. I love Sundays! :) I hope you all have a great week!

Week 13

Wow! I can't believe it is already week 13 and done with the 1st trimester. I am still waiting for the energy to return and be done with sickness :) Friday I ended up getting a migraine and that is definitely not fun treating with only Tylenol. That does nothing for me. Saturday and Sunday were recovery days for me because I was just wipped out. Mom came Friday to spend the weekend with me and Troy went to stay with Justin in Pella. Mom and I managed to make it to Babies R Us. Talk about decisions!!! They have everything! It was really fun looking around and seeing what they had to offer. It was a relaxing weekend!

Last week I had my appointment with a prenatal nurse at my Dr's office. She went over all our history and gave a lot of information for me to look over about the whole process. It was very informational! This Tuesday I have my first appt with my Dr. I think after this appt everything will seen very real and get even more exciting!! I hope everyone has a great, warm week :)
