Wow, it's been a long time! This year has flown by. I thought I better update our blog with some news. Troy, Kamdyn and I are excited to announce that Baby Moore#2 is due on February 26th! We are so excited! Kamdyn says she wants a baby sister and wants to name it Map (from the Dora cartoon). This summer was pretty rough with morning sickness that lasted all day. I was getting sick from the time I got up until I went to bed. It was not fun especially trying to take care of Kamdyn too. The dr gave me medicine, that I still take, and it's wonderful! I can now function. Today I had a dr appt and I am 15 weeks. The heartbeat was 154 and she found it right away. The last appt was quite a scare as the nurse couldn't find the heartbeat at first. Then the dr did so that was a relief. I am starting to get a bump and think that I'll have to start wearing maternity clothes soon. I had to break out some pants today so I was comfortable. Our next appt is October 5th and we will get an ultrasound. This time we are going to find out if we are having a boy or girl. I can hardly wait!
Kamdyn is growing so quickly. She also had a dr appt today for her 2 yr check up. She is right on track and doing everything she needs to be. Kamdyn is very vocal and social. We are finding out quickly that she likes to copy what we say..........good or bad :) We love this stage because she's getting more and more independent and such a hoot. She comes up with the funniest things. Right now she loves Minnie Mouse and Dora. Sunday is her 2nd birthday party and we are having a Minnie Mouse party. She is so excited. She told grandma that she wanted a Minnie cake for her birthday.......should be easy :) Kamdyn has started going to a new babysitter this fall. We love her! It was very hard to leave Megan and the girls but we go and visit once and awhile. She is going to go there this week for a day to play. Megan was very good to us and it was hard to say goodbye because she watched Kamdyn since she was a newborn. Trish, her new sitter is wonderful too. We are very lucky we've had 2 special people take care of her. Our niece, Madison, also goes there so they have a lot of fun. They are always busy.
This year I started in a new position. I now teach 3rd grade at Hoglan Elementary in Marshalltown and I love it! It's been a wonderful change. It helps that I am still in the same district, just changed buildings. The students and staff are so nice and helpful. I love being there. My students are excited that I am having a baby. They have many questions about it. I have a great class. Troy is at Pepsi still and keeping very busy. He enjoys what he's doing so that's great!
